My blog at how the “administration” has dealt with Covid has been less than polite for a lot of reasons. I am in a risk group as I am on the burn pit registry from being deployed to SW Asia. For those of you that don’t know what a burn pit is. A burn pit was the military attempting to dispose of a lot of wartime debris by burning it. Problem is that a lot of shit used in war is toxic, thus a lot of us have lung problems. I personally have multi-nodular lung disease that is benign, but its still shit on my lungs that shouldn’t be there. I also have asthma related to burn pits as well as living under a cloud of 600 oil wells on fire.
Right now, US Navy ships are sitting offshore with multiple cases of Covid on them. Who is dear leader blaming?
The Captain, for sounding the alarm and asking to disembark his ship so that he can isolate Covid. He doesn’t have to worry about it now, though, as he was relieved. Not for having an outbreak, but for sounding the alarm. You know because how dare those sailors catch a disease and sully Donnie’s reputation. Remember a fucking PR stunt; that is all it is to this administration. How can we keep looking good in light of more Americans dying than on 9/11?
Bill De Blasio (Mayor of NYC) says the National Guard is not the real military, but the Governor of New York Andrew Cuomo is deploying them to assist in this effort. Not real military? I served next to NG and Army Reserve soldiers in basic training and later in combat. They are setting up a massive field hospital in the Jacob Javits center in the hopes of providing overflow for those who aren’t sick from Covid.
The military is doing it’s part and putting itself in harm’s way because we cannot as a nation let that asset take a break. Based on how the government acts, there is no care or regard for the danger those troops will face. It is one thing to be shot at, another to be placed amid a contagion, in close quarters, with less PPE than most hospitals have at the moment.
This country is going to survive this crap by working together and using all of its assets effectively. It is also going to survive if you stay the hell home. STAY HOME. You may have seen the post on the Facebook page, but isolation is just that, isolation. It’s the only thing to keep one safe AND stop the virus.
In other news, 5G does not cause cancer. It does not produce “chemtrails” that spread the virus. It had to go through testing at the center that tests radio emissions to prove that it is harmless. Jesusrollerbladingchrist. We actually have to check this. I guess you fuckers are really bored. Bethesda is offering triple XP on fallout 76, buy that, and enjoy that instead of listening to these nutters out there that have nothing better to do than makeup bullshit.
Speaking of that and magical thinking, I am pretty sure God will be cool if you are fucking miss church. The amount hosts for the virus is through the roof. Prayer is not going to switch off the infection magically, and to be honest, this magical thinking, a lot like crazy conspiracy theories, is not fucking helping.
Look, I am neurotic as hell right now, and it is getting a bit easier, but like me, you need to protect yourself as if your life depended on it. Please, for the love of dog, protect yourself and others.
